Intangible cultural heritage and rural traditional culture have a high correlation. Since the implementation of rural revitalization strategies，intangible cultural heritage safeguard has been integrated into the national development strategies to effectively promote the protection，inheritance，dissemination and innovative development of rural traditional culture. Intangible cultural heritage and its safeguard have contributed to the revitalization of rural culture in terms of value guidance，uphold new ethos and good conduct，industrial accumulation，cultural and tourism integration and cultivation of talents，and also achieved remarkable results. However，the development and utilization level of western rural culture is insufficient，and the weak participation of farmers is realistic difficulties for intangible cultural heritage to help revitalize rural culture. The coping strategies include the consolidation and deepen protection of intangible cultural heritage，the strengthen integration of rural culture and tourism，the fully stimulation of rural endogenous power，and strive for breakthroughs in the aspects of institutional guarantee，power traction，subject efficacy and so on.
