China has now entered a period of mass tourism，with the type of tourism changing further from sightseeing to leisure travel. B&Bs，as an important way to allow travelers to experience the atmosphere of life during their journey，are increasingly winning the hearts of the public，and this has led to capital beginning to pour its attention into the B&B industry. As a major tourist city in China，Beijing is rich in tourism resources and has a large market for B&B guests. However，there are still many hidden problems in the B&B industry in Beijing that need to be addressed. This report takes a look at the current state of development of the B&B industry in Beijing and identifies its problems：a weak economic base that prevents owners from securing their income；an unregulated industry that drives out good money；and poor regulation that leads to frequent safety problems，and concludes that the future of the industry in Beijing should start with strengthening government guidance and industry self-regulation；creating a “symbiotic” development model for communities；and creating a “host” culture. In the future，Beijing should start by strengthening government guidance and industry self-regulation，creating a “symbiotic” development model for communities，creating a “master” culture，strengthening the intelligent construction of B&Bs，and strengthening awareness of B&B branding to promote the orderly and healthy development of the B&B industry in Beijing.
