This study，based on the data of registered community social organizations on the public service platform of Beijing social organizations，probes into problems including the insufficient amount，imbalanced structure，and inadequate influence and autonomy of the Beijing community social organizations. An in-depth analysis is conducted concerning the various reasons for developmental impediment，and comprehensive and concrete measures are proposed to improve the system of supportive policy，enhance the government support，innovate the mode of practice，mobilize and stimulate the enthusiasm of multiple actors，attract professional participation and elevate the capacity of the resident’s participation in community governance.
