Great achievements have been made in China’s juvenile justice system in recent years：the laws and regulations concerning juvenile judicial protection have been greatly improved；the social investigation and the appropriate adult presence systems have been widely implemented；and the total number of juvenile criminal offences has been in decline. More than half of the procuratorates across the country have established the juvenile prosecution department，and juvenile courts or collegiate benches have been extensively established at the grass-root courts. Mandatory measures have been sought for parenting education.
