The neighborhood committee is the core of community，without which the community cannot develop well. Development of the neighborhood committee is the precondition of development of the community organization system. Recently in Beijing，although the neighborhood committees were well developed，there still existed several problems，especially the problem of low participation rate in the community. However，by taking the Olympic Games as an opportunity，the neighborhood committees have held series of community activities with the theme of Olympics，the problem of low participation is improved to some extent and all the community，the neighborhood committee and other community organizations are well developed，such as the colorful community activities，better understanding to the community organizations，increased capability of mobilization，changes in the working style，improvement of relationship between the residents and the community organizations，as well as the internationalized level of the community organizations.
