The Shichahai Historical ＆ Cultural Tourism Destination is the largest among 25 historical and cultural reserves in Beijing. As an open historical and cultural tourism destination， Shichahai combines the residents' residential area， the historical and cultural reserve， the commercial block and the tourism destination， which brings many problems and challenges to the development， utilization， conservation and management of the scenic spot. As Beijing is optimizing the capital functions， Shichahai has taken the initiative to build a smart scenic spot to improve the management and service level， enhance development quality and better serve the cultural function building of the capital. It has done this work in response to the call of Xicheng District， which has decided to vigorously build a demonstrative area of harmony and livability and take a special action against major areas. In this report， we will analyze the current progress of the sub-district in smart scenic spot building， and review its leading experience and results. At the same time， we will also provide some suggestions and opinions to further enrich the building of smart scenic spots in China， and advise other regions in this regard.
