The 19th congress of the CPC solemnly declared that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era，which gave a new historic mission for both Chinese language education and Chinese international education. The mission is that we must recognize the historical mission of the times and grasp the new era’s opportunity to development，promote people-to-people and cultural exchanges and the development of international communicative capacity，drive the creative transformation and innovative development of Chinese traditional culture，push the establishment of a community of shared future for mankind and serve for the peaceful development of the world，accelerate the unity of the world’s Chinese people and the peaceful development of cross-strait relations，deepen supply-side structural reform and facilitate the sustainable development of Chinese education. Consequently，there are plenty of opportunities for Chinese education in the new era. And Chinese education will contribute more to realize the Chinese dream of the great national renewal.
