In recent years，the multi-tiered social security system of Jiangsu has achieved great development. The construction of social security system has achieved remarkable results，generally at the forefront of the country，the pension，health care and subsistence allowances as the focus of the social security，the system has achieved full coverage，achieved wide coverage in the crowd. At the same time，the development of the urban and rural social security system has made great progress，and the level of social security treatment has been steadily improved. However，the fragmentation and fairness of the social security system in Jiangsu has been gradually highlighted with the deepening of the reform of the security system. According to the actual situation of Jiangsu，it is foreseeable that the fairness and sustainability of the social security system will be the key content of the social security reform in Jiangsu.
