<<This article is interested in the super-creative category of worker’s of the creative class, and discusses the argument according to which creative(here super-creative)workers are less vulnerable(or immune)to economic crisis. The reason why creative workers were thought to be in such a privileged position is quite simple and obvious, creative worker and the creative class in general represent occupations that were motors of growth for economies;they are at the core of contemporary forms of production and capitalism. This article illustrates how the super-creatives of the arts and culture have been only minimally affected by the economic downturn. In addition, this article also seeks to illustrate the rise of new collective behaviours in arts and culture organization that result from the latest economic downturn. For artists and many cultural workers, the crisis involves only slight perturbations;artists in particular best exemplify the contemporary conditions of labour and work organization in knowledge society. Beyond the obvious and more negative effects of the crisis, the economic turmoil has facilitated the rise of new types of advocacy and new practice of network learning, thus suggesting some creative elements to the collective action and organization against the crisis.
