This chapter defines the scope of the new economy in the new energy industry and takes nuclear power，wind power，solar power and biomass as examples to introduce the status quo of the new economy in the world’s new energy industry. Studies show that development momentum of the new economy of the world’s new energy industry is good，mainly as follows：the development momentum of nuclear power is generally stable and China is particularly strong；the momentum of development of wind power and optoelectronics is generally strong. Among them，the momentum of development in China，the United States and the EU is relatively strong. In terms of biomass energy，the power generation sector of China is gaining momentum，with the EU strong in biomass solid fuels and the United States and Brazil strong in biomass liquid fuels. Overall，the development of China’s new energy industry is a world leader in photovoltaic power generation，wind power and photovoltaic equipment manufacturing，but it is still far from the world’s leading level in other new economic developments. Therefore，China should learn from the experience of developed countries in formulating policies for the development of new energy industries，promulgate laws and regulations that promote specific new energy industries suitable for their own development and formulate supporting policies to promote the further development of the new economy in the new energy industry.
