Student cadres play an important role in colleges and universities to meet the needs of the times and meet the needs of the society. Student cadres are the bridge between teachers and students and the main auxiliary forces for the school to carry out activities.However，with the transformation of higher education from elite to civilian，there is imbalance between student cadres' ability and their own achievements.In order to promote the coordinated development of student cadres' ability and achievement as a whole and accelerate the process of cultivating high-quality talents in the new era of our country，this paper discusses the importance of the coordinated development of student cadres' achievements and abilities. This paper analyzes on the causes of the imbalance between student cadres' ability and achievement，and puts forward some suggestions for realizing the coordinated development of student cadres' ability and achievement.
