相对于视觉而言,听觉为居住空间之内的感官主体提供了某种另类的都市体验。当视觉中心主义的宰制被打破,现代作家笔下关于“市声”的记述得以成为一份特殊的城市史料,将一个多元声景之中的上海保存下来。在视景之外,声景中的上海暴露出其都市现代性的不均衡与不稳定,并在不同作家那里显影出社会区隔、空间政治以及战时日常生活的心理地貌。鲁迅、张爱玲等作家对都市声音有意识的聆听与书写,构成了一种具有能动性和批判性的听觉实践。
<<Compared with vision,auditory offers more direct and real urban experience to the people in residential space. The modern writers' writing on the “sound of Shanghai city” in their city expressions offers a social historical-material,breaking the domination of vision,and keeping a multifold soundscape of Shanghai,which presents the imbalance and instability of urban modernity,spatial politics and the mentality of daily life in the Second World War. The listening and writing of some writers such as Lu xun and Eileen Chang can be regarded as a kind of active and critical auditory practice.
