Telemedicine can effectively alleviate resource tension. In recent years，telemedicine has been applied in various countries to alleviate the uneven distribution of medical resources. Telemedicine has developed rapidly. However，due to the lack of the implementation norms of telemedicine，the modes and effects of telemedicine in various places are different. Establishing a standardized telemedicine evaluation index system has become a key problem to be solved. With reference to the telemedicine evaluation model （The Model for Assessment of Telemedicine，MAST） established by the European Commission on，this paper study the evaluation of telemedicine applications from four aspects of clinical effectiveness，patient cognition，economic benefits，organizational change and points out the challenges and future prospects of telemedicine evaluation which lays a foundation for establishing the telemedicine evaluation in dexsystem.
