“Attaching equal importance to Chinese medicine and Western medicine” is a basic policy of health work in China. In order to understand the actual situation of Chinese medicine participating in health services，this paper studies from two aspects：the Chinese medicine resources and Chinese medicine service utilization. Results show that Chinese medicine is an important part of the China health system，the status of Chinese medicine has been strengthened，integrated Chinese and Western Medicine hospital is increasing rapidly. To ensure and promote the development of Chinese medicine，it is necessary to make clear the orientation of Chinese medicine in the health system，establish a scientific talent training and incentive mechanism，strengthen the inheritance and innovation of Chinese medicine，and deepen the foreign cooperation and exchange.
