From 2015 to 2017，Cases of smuggling crimes in Shanghai show high incidence of unit crimes，diversification of smuggling methods，Increase in the incidence of non-tax-related smuggling cases，rising smuggling cases overseas，cross-border e-commerce smuggling，increased risk of smuggling in free trade zones. The Third Branch of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Procuratorate effectively demonstrated the new work of inter-district procuratorates and achieved remarkable results in the fight against smuggling crimes. In the next stage，we will focus on many aspects such as platform construction，team building，development promotion，propaganda and innovation，and reform protection，focusing on new goals，identify the starting point and focus of service protection，increase the crackdown and supervision on smuggling crimes such as destroying the order of the market economy，affecting the construction of the free trade area，and destroying environmental resources，continuously improve the mechanism of criminal prosecution，improve the quality and level of inspection work.
