Promoting the integration and development of Zhengzhou and Jiaozuo is an inevitable choice for speeding up the construction of a national central city of Zhengzhou and the establishment of a large Zhengzhou metropolitan area. It is an intrinsic requirement for constructing a modern urban system based on urban agglomerations and optimizing the spatial layout of the city.At present，under the market mechanism，the integration of Zhengzhou and Jiaozuo has already started. Some advancedregions have actively explored industrial development，public services，and achieved certain results，but there are obstacles to the integration of deep development.
