Based on the explanation of the related concepts of middle-income groups，this paper describes the current situation of middle-income groups in urban Henan，analyzes the problems and causes of middle-income groups，and forecast the future development trend of middle income group in Henan City.The article argues that the scale and proportion of urban middle-income groups in Henan are small，and the distribution of middle-income groups is not balanced. The main reason for this problem is that the low-end industrial structure and the relatively low human capital of the workforce. Based on the analysis of the influencing factors of middle-income groups，the study suggests that the scale and proportion of middle-income urban groups in Henan will further expand and distribute more evenly in the future.
