By means of utilizing information technology and via the platform of internet，sharing economy integrates and allocates idle resources，effectively connects the supplier and demander，and realizes the optimistic allocation of resources. Now，The different forms of the sharing economy have infiltrated every area of the city. This provides new growth impetus for urban economic and social development. But for the rural areas，the sharing of economic development is still in the lag or even the gap stage. How can sharing economy bring the rural economic development convenience and benefits？ By conducting field interviews and sample survey in parts of the rural areas in Henan Province，this paper investigates the status quo of the development of sharing economy in rural areas，finds the predicament of its development，explores the restraining factors，puts forward the path of developing sharing economy in rural areas，thus activates the rural resources，fosters new motive force for rural economic development，and further promotes the supply-side structural reform in agriculture.
