2017年，欧洲一体化改革迎来机遇之窗，德法轴心重新启动，法、德、欧盟三支力量为一体化改革注入动力，欧盟有望在安全与防务、欧元区改革等主要议题领域取得进展。不过，迄今各种方案对于改革方向和路径存在明显分歧，德法新轴心的磨合程度和各方力量博弈结果牵制并决定着此轮改革进程的实际收获。
<<2017 saw a window of opportunity for a new departure in European integration and a restart of the German-Franco Tandem. France，Germany and the EU have given impetus to this reform，and progress is expected particularly concerning the common security and defense policy and the eurozone. There are，however，obvious divergences on which paths and what directions to take. The degree to which the new German-Franco Tandem achieves compromise and the outcome of the interplay among various stake holders will determine the success of this reform process.
