Community leisure space plays an important role in the interpersonal relationship，life pattern and leisure quality of community residents in modern cities. Through field observation and interviews，this paper studies square dance，which is popular in the community，and analyzes the leisure activities and social relations in the community space. This paper conducts an empirical study on the interpersonal relationship of square dance community from the perspective of urban public space and non-commercial leisure space，studies the current situation and problems of square dance and analyzes the characteristics of the interpersonal relationship constructed by square dance. From the angle of social culture，this paper puts forward the new proposals for the development of urban leisure space and the management strategy of community leisure space.
