Shandong cuisine can trace back to ancient times，and its dishes enjoy a world-wide reputation. The revitalization and development of Shandong cuisine are both an urgent requirement for the promotion of outstanding traditional culture in Shandong Province and an objective demand for promoting the sustained and healthy development of Shandong’s social economy. This article starts with the characteristics of Shandong cuisine，objectively analyzes the achievements and difficulties faced by the current Shandong cuisine development，and after conscientiously sorting out all the measures taken by Shandong for revitalizing Shandong cuisine in recent years，several suggestions have been made to promote the revitalization and development of Shandong cuisine.
