Travel service exports are the backbone of the Macao SAR economy. The six elements of tourism include “eat，live，transport，travel，purchase，and entertainment”. The local catering industry① is closely related to social and economic development. It is one of the indispensable links for Macao to its rich connotation food city，building a world tourism and leisure center，and promoting the moderate and diversified economic development. In addition to the catering services provided by the hotels and gaming companies，the major part of the catering industry in Macao is the micro，small or medium-sized enterprises. At the beginning of 2018，the Macao SAR Government issued a total of approximately 2，500 catering licenses. Throughout the survey of 2017，the prosperity of the restaurant industry in Macao was more ideal than 2016.
