In 2017，the catering industry in Jiangsu was guided by new ideas，with innovation as the driving force and reform as the engine，continuously deepening the structural reforms in the catering supply side，and accelerating the process of standardization，industrialization，and internationalization of the catering industry. The province’s catering economy has reached a new level，the quality of its development has been upgraded，reform and innovation have shown new vigor，and new results have been achieved in transformation and upgrading. Based on the statistics of Jiangsu Statistics Bureau and International Bureau of Statistics，this report analyzes the development status and characteristics of the catering industry in Jiangsu and points out the main problems，and proposes countermeasures and advice.
