According to the definition and requirements of sustainable development，combined with the background of Beijing’s easing of non-capital functions，an index system consisting of four first-level indicators，13 second-level indicators，and 30 third-level indicators was set up. After selecting the publicly released data from the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Statistics and processing them positively，standardizedly，and exponentially，the dual-weighted method is used to determine the weight of each indicator，and the calculation of the economic，social，and environmental coordination of Beijing from 2011 to 2016 can be calculated. The comprehensive index of sustainable development and the development index of various subsystems of economic development，social harmony，environmental friendliness，and innovation drive evaluated the current status of sustainable economic development in Beijing.
