In 2017，Beijing’s industrial sector focused on improving the integration，showing a rebound in prices，exports，and outcomes. With the characteristics of structural optimization，efficiency improvement，and new kinetic energy accelerating growth，the value added of industrial enterprises above designated size fluctuated during the year and remained basically stable year-on-year. The industrial multi-point support structure initially appeared and the industry above designated size increased by 5.6%. Looking ahead to 2018，demand improvement and endogenous power boosting boost the industry to maintain stable operation，but new capacity is limited and continuous dispersal of functions will affect the industrial expansion. In general，Beijing’s industrial growth is expected to be around 5% in 2018.
