Constructing a regional index of popular science popularization，making a comprehensive evaluation on the changes of various science popularization inputs in a quantitative way，and calculating the science popularization index in Beijing can provide decision-making basis for accelerating the popularization of science popularization. This report elaborates the design，weighting and dimensioning of the index system for building a comprehensive evaluation of science popularization. It uses a variety of development index calculation methods to calculate and compare，and selects the development index measurement method most suitable for the evaluation targets of science popularization development. Suggestions has been given on how to further improve Beijing comprehensive science evaluation in the future.
