In 2017，the tourism industry in Jilin Province has experienced a rapid development. The growth rate in the total number of tourists and total income was higher than the national average. The tourism department constantly strengthened the work of reform and development in the field of safety production and improved the safety supervision and control system. The province's tourism safety situation was stable and orderly. The tourism department made the safety situation stable by strengthening the planning of tourism safety work，attaching importance to special renovation actions，intensifying supervision and inspection，strengthening production safety propaganda and training drills，completing the review of the basic emergency plans and strengthening emergency safeguard and insurance service function. Looking ahead to 2018，the Jilin provincial tourism system will focus on the comprehensiveness in tourism safety work，intensify safety inspections，promote special renovation in key areas，enhance the effectiveness of training and education，and enhance comprehensive emergency response capabilities for tourism safety.
