In 2017，the situation of tourism-related public health safety in China was quite serious，and the tourists' awareness of the prevention of tourism-related public health incidents was relatively weak. The tourism-related health and safety situation in 2017 mainly included：the mass tourism was constantly heating up and it was difficult to control the safety of tourism-related public health；international tourism activities were frequent and the public health and safety of global tourism was faced with severe challenges；the awareness of public tourism safety was weak and the public health incidents of individual tourists occurred frequently. Here are some recommendations for the development of tourism-related public health in 2018：to continue to improve tourism safety policies；to optimize the supervision of tourism public health and safety；to effectively promote the health and safety education of individual tourists；to promote the management and cooperation of global tourism public health and safety；to vigorously promote the health and safety guarantee of the new tourism pattern；and to promote intelligent tourism so as to the risk management for tourism safety incidents.
