As the core element of tourism，the safety of tourist attractions is the lifeline that affects the normal development of tourism activities. The safety of scenic spots is related to all aspects of tourist attractions，and it has a key impact on the normal conduct of tourist activities. In 2017，the security situation of tourist attractions in China was stable. A total of 209 safety emergencies occurred，which were distributed in 28 provinces （autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government），and the number of deaths was 89. Among them，the most frequent incidents of tourism safety incidents occurred in the landscape culture were 120，accounting for 57.4% of the total number of security incidents in the scenic area. From the temporal and spatial characteristics of the events，especially in August and October，this is the same as the characteristics of the tourist season. With the development of large data，intelligent tourism has become an important part of the development of tourism. It also brings new challenges and opportunities to the safety environment of the scenic area.
