Developing new agricultural industry and new agricultural format has become the exertion focus to boost agricultural supply-side structural reform，it is an inevitable choice for the development of agriculture and rural areas under new economic norms as well as the essential approach to promote Sichuan’s leaping towards strong agriculture-oriented province. While Sichuan province attaches great importance to the growth of new agricultural industry and new agricultural format，it still faces many problems while achieving results. To tackle with these issues，this paper deeply grasps the impetus mechanism of the new agricultural industry and new agricultural format，adheres to the principle of path selection，which is to promote new industries through new industrial chains，to promote new industries through integration of industries，to add new elements to the new industries with modern elements，and increase policy support and guidance in new industry and new formats. Thus it will build up new growth point for agricultural and rural development and create new momentum for peasants to increase their incomes.
