The pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is a basic industry related to the national economy and the people’s livelihood. At present，China has formed a complete industrial system including the manufacture of chemical drugs，the processing of Chinese medicinal materials and Chinese patent medicines，the manufacture of biological products，chemical raw materials，chemical drugs and so on. In 2017，it is an important year for the implementation of the 13th Five-Year plan. It is the deepening year of the supply side structural reform，and also the key year for the reform of the pharmaceutical industry. This year，Henan further deepened the reform of the medical and health system，and controlled the fee as one of the priorities of the annual health work. Henan develops the Chinese herbal medicine and Chinese patent medicine into a “business backbone”，consolidating its roots and constantly seeking new revenue growth points，and promoting diversification of marketing channels. It maintained a steady development trend and laid a good foundation for Henan pharmaceutical industry to become bigger and stronger.
