In 2017，the industrial and information industry in Guangzhou achieved a steady growth in profits. The total industrial tax revenue grew 11%，the total profit of industries above designated size grew 11.8%. The operating income of software and information services exceeded 300 billion RMB for the first time with an increase of about 18%. The added value accounted for 65.6% of the added value of manufacturing above designated size，and the energy consumption of industrial units above designated size decreased by 4.9%. In 2018，with thorough implementation of the spirit of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China，Guangzhou will try hard to advance high-quality development of its industrial information industry.
