In 2016，Montenegro held parliamentary election which resulted that the Democratic Party of Socialists of Montenegro remained the ruling party and formed the new government led by Duško Marković. The economy of Montenegro maintained steady growth with the decline of unemployment rate. The sectors of tourism and services were gaining momentum. Large multinational energy projects were frequently achieved. “European integration” has still remained the prime political and diplomatic goal of Montenegro in recent years. On June 5th，2017，Montenegro officially became the 29th member country of NATO. In addition，the exchanges and cooperation between China and Montenegro in economic，trade，culture，tourism and other fields have concluded remarkable achievements.
