In recent years，Singapore's biomedical science（BMS）industry has developed rapidly and become an important part of the global biomedical value chain. Using theories of global value chain and international industrial competitiveness，this paper elaborates the development of biomedical science industry in Singapore，analyzesthe two most influential factors，including industry policies andmultinational companies，discusses its international competitiveness，and attempts to put forward some experience and enlightenment from Singapore's BMS industry development.
