As one of the fastest growing regions in the world，ASEAN is an important area for the world's energy consumption and supply. Due to the great differences in resource endowment，economic development level，and energy utilization mode，ASEAN countries are varied in energy demand and supply structure，trade composition and energy security strategy and policy. Based on it，this paper intends to comprehensively investigate the current situation of the energy economy，energy sustainable development strategy，and challenges faced by ASEAN countries.
