2017 marks ASEAN's 50th anniversary. For a half century，with the booming of the economy and the accelerated regional integration，ASEAN moved faster tobuildpolitical security alliance，promote inter-regional free movement of production factors，integrate social cultural resources，as well as narrow development gaps among member countries，and have made enormous achievements. ASEAN is now enteringa new era of regional integrationafter the establishment of the ASEAN community in 2015. According to the ASEAN Community Vision 2025 and the blueprint，there is still a long way to go toward reaching the real regional integration.
