Nowadays，scientific and technological innovation capability has become a key factor to improve the overall competitiveness of the industry and promote economic growth. With the increasing investment in science and technology in Henan，the output of science and technology is improving and the main scientific research body is diversifying. Henan has achieved fruitful results in scientific and technological innovation capability. However，there are also problems of centralization，polarization and uneven distribution in science and technology innovation. This paper evaluates the ability of scientific and technological innovation in Henan and analyses the development and the trend of scientific and technological innovation capability. It also offers detailed solutions to Henan scientific and technological innovation accordingly.
