The trust crisis between doctors and patients has become a severe social problem，which has received extensive attention. From the perspective of social psychology，this paper makes a review of the concept，type，theory and research status of the doctor-patient trust relationship. Based on this，this paper puts forward the deficiency of previous research in the doctor-patient trust area，and tries to construct a comprehensive model of social psychological mechanism in the construction of doctor-patient trust relationship. It may be meaningful for the future research on the doctor-patient trust relationship.
