On the basis of a general overview of the social security situation in Beijing，with the result of the questionnaire survey as a clue，from the four aspects of the public security situation，grass-roots policing work，community security and propaganda，and security senes at different times，this paper analyzes the overall evaluation of the Beijing citizen’s social security situation in Beijing in 2017. The evaluation of public places，public security problem，floating population and rental housing management and car theft crime in Beijing，According to the spirit of superiors and the reality of Beijing，four suggestions are put forward from 2018，including four aspects，namely，controlling problem places，hightighting the management of public security，building community policing team，providing safe and healthy rental housing for floating population and so on in 2018.
