National Civil City is the highest honor among all comprehensive evaluations for Chinese cities，and represents the soft power of a city. Currently，a number of Chinese provinces and municipalities are conducting or intensifying the work of civil city construction that draws increasing public awareness. Anhui Province has achieved significant outcomes since the beginning of civil city construction. This report is based on a comprehensive review of the current situation of civil city construction in Anhui Province，and analyzes the advantages of Anhui from aspects such as economic development，cultural heritage，ecological civilization and mass participation，while pointing out weaknesses in construction work，such as inadequate awareness of construction work，lack of coordination among departments，insufficiency in unique development and low public participation，and proposing corresponding countermeasures and recommendations regarding aspects such as construction mechanism，governance of key areas，exploration of local speciality，and development of volunteer services，in the hope to provide revelations for the promotion of efficiency in civil city construction of Anhui Province.
