The Implementation Advice by CPC Anhui Province Committee and Anhui Province Government regarding the Execution of New Concept for Development to Accelerate Agricultural Modernization and Realization of the Goal of All-Round Moderately Well-Off Society released in May of 2016，and the Rural Rejuvenation Strategy proposed in the Report of the 19th Party Congress in October of 2017 both demand that：in order to promote agricultural and rural development，new concept for development must be adopted to tackle supply dilemmas in rural public infrastructures. Investigations reveal serious problems of empty nests and aging in rural Anhui，weak supply of rural infrastructures in multiple places，and chronic lack of maintenance and dilapidation，which all fail to cater to the realities of modern agriculture and new-type farmers. An analysis of the causes points to the urgent needs to remedy four shortcomings in the supply of rural infrastructures in Anhui Province，namely，appearance rather than quality；more construction，less maintenance；short-term instead of long-term planning；and more hardware，less software. Based on that，this report explores countermeasures and recommendations to improve quality and increase efficiency in the supply of rural infrastructure for Anhui Province in the new era.
