This report begins with the transformation and upgrading of industrialstructure of Wuhu，and relies on the six-year data from 2010 to 2016 to make a vertical analysis of economic data of Wuhu during this period and a horizontal analysis of cities in the same region，which reveals a significant feature for Wuhu industries that are small in volume，rapid in growth，low in quality and big in development spaces. Therefore，the development of modern service industries，acceleration of industrial transformation and upgrading，construction of special urban industries，and introduction of external quality resources are inevitable paths to boost the quality and efficiency of Wuhu economic growth，and to promote the economic upgrading of Wuhu.
