随着媒体传播技术和传播介质的不断迅速迭代,中国传媒无论是在商业模式,还是在受众流失、人才流失方面,均遭遇了前所未有的影响与冲击。以互联网特别是移动互联网为代表的信息技术发展日新月异,在新闻传播领域表现得尤为突出。2017年媒体新技术发展与应用涉及媒体内部融合、外部整合、内容生产、产品呈现、用户参与等各个方面,在增强、补充、校正媒体既有功能同时,创造媒体新功能,开辟媒体发挥作用的新空间,拓展人类的新想象,不仅提高了媒体的生产效率,而且吸引社会资本的广泛参与,构成以媒体为中心的生态系统和运作逻辑。2017年中国传统传媒业务(广告收入、发行收入)板块依然处于断崖式下滑局面,其中尤以都市报的经营状况最为堪忧,多家报纸出现“减版”“停刊”状况。越来越多的传统媒体陷入发行下降、盈利亏损、人才流失等生存困境,优秀媒体人的加速离职转型引发人们对传统媒体衰落的担忧。新媒体业务和多元化业务板块目前虽然依然弥补不了传统业务板块的“大失血”,但其在渠道、平台、内容、资本、体制机制等方面已有所突破,并初步涌现出了一大批新产品、新项目、新模式,为中国传媒的融合实践带来了巨大的生机与活力。正是在这种大背景下,2017年的新媒体发展整体呈现出一种“消融”与“重塑”的共在特征。一是微博微信等社交媒体的崛起,削弱了传统新闻业的文化权威,用户生产内容(UGC)、公民新闻、网络监督的活跃意味着传统媒体不再是事实真相的唯一提供者。二是伴随舆论环境的变化和新时期宣传报道力度的加大,媒体主管部门及各级政府为了维护社会稳定、塑造社会认同,对敏感性社会问题的报道加强了行政管控。
