2017年，受益于供给侧结构性改革，国内电解铝市场价格上涨，电解铝企业产能逐渐得到恢复。在此利好因素的带动下，嘉峪关市电解铝生产和铝材加工保持了平稳增长，但是，产业链条延伸不足、铝产品单一、成本费用增加、资源环境约束收紧等突出矛盾没有得到根本解决。嘉峪关市应抓住铝消费结构优化的机遇，进一步延伸铝型材深加工产业链，使铝挤压型材由“半成品”向“成品”延伸，提高产业链整体竞争力。
<<In 2017，benefiting from the supply-side structural reform，the price of the domestic electrolytic aluminum rose，and the production capacity of electrolytic aluminum enterprises was gradually restored.Due to the positive factor，the electrolytic aluminum production and aluminum processing in Jiayuguan were increased steadily，but the outstanding contradictions were not resolved fundamentally such as the insufficient industry chain extension，the single aluminum products，the increased cost，the tight resources and the environment constraints etc.Jiayuguan should seize the opportunity of the aluminum consumption structure optimization，further extend the aluminum deep processing industry，and extend the aluminum extrusion profiles from “the intermediate goods” to “the finished goods” to improve the overall competitiveness of industry chain.
