In 2017，Jiayuguan city fixed assets investment started at a low level and recovered from quarter to quarter.However，there are still some problems such as irrational investment structure，insufficient reserve for major projects and insufficient fund guarantee.Due to the complex and severe macro environment，overcapacity，industrial upgrading contradictions and other multiple factors，in 2018，fixed assets investment will still face many difficulties，problems and greater pressure.This paper makes an in-depth analysis on the operation of fixed assets investment in 2017，reveals the difficult problems existing in the operation of investment，and makes a preliminary judgment on the investment of fixed assets in 2018.
