“新史记”作为自媒体时代的一种公共话语表达，始终围绕着大众关注的新闻热点进行写作，对于网络空间的舆论导向有重要的推波助澜作用。从内容上说，“新史记”主要表现为追踪新闻热点、题材丰富多样以及话题的公共性。从结构与效果上来说，“新史记”可从三个方面进行把握：形式方面的传承、舆论场的构建以及去媒体中心化的效果。微信空间的“新史记”是一种文体实践，也是一种历史叙事，它以民间立场来记录和反映当今的社会文化热点，是自媒体时代历史书写的有机组成部分，有着不容忽视的文化意义。
<<“New Historical Records”，as a public discourse of We Media era，paying close attention to the Hot News，has an important role in the direction of public opinion on the internet. In regard to the contents，“New Historical Records” has three main features：Hot News，various themes and public topics. In regard to the structure and effect，“New Historical Records” mainly shows in three aspects：the form of heritage，the construction of public opinion and the effect of de-centralized media. “New Historical Records” of WeChat is a kind of stylistic practice，also is a historical narrative. It records and reflects the social and cultural issues in the civil standpoint. It is an organic part of the history of We Media era.
