This study aims to study types of attitudes toward Chinese filial piety by analyzing filial piety cognition，filial piety motivation and filial piety emotions. The results showed that Chinese filial piety can be classified，from the perspectives of responsibility and emotions，into four types，namely，perfect type（high responsibility score，high affection score），responsible type（high responsibility score，low affection score），affective type（low responsibility score，high affection score），and unfilially type（low responsibility score，low affection score）. Among all，perfect type was the most frequently occurring type followed by responsible type，affective type and unfilially type. The types of attitudes towards filial piety were significantly different based on gender，areas and ages. Therefore，Filial piety is still one of major values and regulations.
