In 2017，Beijing made major progresses in its social governance in several aspects：the sophistication of social governance has been steadily increased；the legalization of social governance has been further promoted；the cultivation and incubation of social organizations have been steadily proceeding；and the work of governing criminal offenses has also made new achievements. At the same time，There are still deficiencies in Beijing’s Social governance：the mechanism of social forces participation in resolving social conflicts is imperfect，the governance of the urban-rural integration department is flawed，the legal system of social organizations is not perfect，and the management and service of the floating party members are still inadequate. To this end，Beijing should further improve the participation mechanism of social forces in the process of resolving social conflicts，strengthen the governance of the urban-rural integration department，improve the legal system concerning social organizations and strengthen the management of the floating party members in the social field.
