The separation of “decoupling” reform of China’s trade association and chamber of commerce is a key link to the reform of the administrative system. Based on the background of the separation reform of China’s trade association and chamber of commerce，this paper reviews the main measures of the reform and the achievement in the past work. There are many issues existed in the associations which seriously affected their development. For example，in the process of the separation reform，the internal problems of the associations are remarkable，inadequate capacity of organizations and coordination of associations has hindered the reform，etc. Standing on the China’s context and tricky issues，it is expected to strengthen the internal governance of trade associations，try to solve the organization problems，improve the comprehensive supervision systems，and provide a capacity for sustainable development of China’s trade association and chamber of commerce.
