The discipline of health management is an emerging interdisciplinary subject integrating medicine，management and informatics. The overall development of the health management discipline and related personnel construction are of vital importance to the development of China’s health service industry. In recent years，the construction of health management discipline and related personnel training have been remarkable，the discipline features are increasingly prominent，and the personnel training system is preliminarily established. However，there are still some problems and challenges such as further elaboration of the discipline system，exploration of personnel training mode and improvement of specialty construction，etc.
